Anxiety Therapy in Denver
Who Benefits from Therapy for Anxiety?
Anxiety therapy is for those who are struggling with overthinking things, running over scenarios constantly in the mind, and worrying that bad things are just around the corner. Anxiety can also manifest in other ways such as feeling nervous around others or in new spaces, and can cause disruption to the normal joys and everyday tasks in life.
The benefits of anxiety therapy can include freeing up more mental real estate for the people and things in your life that you cherish, better sleep, and less worries overall.

How I Work with Anxiety
As an anxiety therapist in Denver, I start by taking a nonjudgmental stance to listen completely to your struggles. After we have built a strong therapeutic rapport, I will work with you to identify the symptoms of your anxiety, how they affect day-to-day life, and when they tend to be the worst.
With everything on the table, I will begin to teach you skills and tools you can use to help you catch yourself when you are feeling anxious, address the anxious emotions, and process them.
Once you feel like you have the skills and tools to help yourself address the symptoms of anxiety, we will start taking a look at the root cause of the anxiety and work with cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness to start undoing the beliefs you hold and create new beliefs that are aligned with the values you wish to live by.
What Does a Session Look Like?
Sessions last for 50 minutes and can be held in person, or via telehealth throughout the state of Colorado.
At the start, I recommend sessions once weekly, and then we can assess later on whether you feel like you need more or less support, and create a schedule based on your needs.
Session Cost and Reimbursement
Each 50-minute session is $160 per session, regardless of in-person or telehealth services. I also work with Mentaya, which is a service that helps you take the superbill I generate for you at the end of each month and reach out to your insurance on your behalf for the best reimbursement rate possible.
